Consultation Visits generally last about 1-1.5 hours. They include the telephone pre-consult and any follow up calls, including a written report to the infant's pediatrician.Visits can be paid by cash, check or credit card at the conclusion of the visit.
A medical super-bill receipt is provided at the end of our consultation for you to submit directly to your Healthcare Insurance Provider for services rendered. This service is often covered by most healthcare insurance companies and/or medical expenditure/Flexible Spending Account. I also provide you with an editable letter with the consult forms for you to attempt to obtain breast pump rental reimbursement from your Healthcare Insurance Provider. It is best to submit claims along with a prescription from your doctor so that whatever portion is not covered can be used as a tax deduction.
Your Healthcare Insurance Provider reimbursement is a separate matter between you and your Healthcare Insurance company. These medical super-bill receipt contain the information needed for you to submit to your Healthcare Insurance Provider and should be attached to your claim form. Please be sure to indicate to them that reimbursement should go to you and not to me.
Please contact your provider for your plan benefits if you have further questions.
